What to expect

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step — this page outlines what to expect, the kinds of challenges we can help with, and how to get started.

How it works

First Steps

01

One Short Call

Pick a time that suits you for a short, confidential call. We’ll talk about what’s brought you here and whether felt feels like the right fit. No pressure, just a conversation.

02

Your First Session

If we decide to work together, your first session focuses on getting to know you - what’s happening, what matters, and where you’d like to go. Together, we’ll map a way forward.

03

Our Work Together

Therapy works best with steady weekly sessions, online or in person. There’s no fixed endpoint; you set the pace, pause when you need to, and continue for as long as it feels right.

Here's what we can explore together

Anxiety

When worry or overthinking starts taking over, therapy can help you slow down, understand what’s driving your anxiety, and regain a sense of calm and control. Together, we’ll explore tools and perspectives that make day-to-day life feel more manageable.

Low Mood & Depression

If you’ve lost motivation, feel emotionally flat, or struggle to find pleasure in things you used to enjoy, therapy offers space to reconnect with yourself and rebuild a sense of meaning and direction.

Stress & Burnout

Modern life can be relentless. Whether you’re navigating pressure at work, home, or both, therapy can help you understand your stress responses, set boundaries, and recover balance.

Self-Esteem & Confidence

We’ll look at the beliefs and patterns that have shaped how you see yourself — and start building a more compassionate, confident relationship with who you are.

Relationships

Whether you’re struggling with communication, boundaries, or repeating patterns in relationships, therapy provides a space to explore how you connect with others and what might need to shift.

Life Transitions

Change can feel overwhelming — even positive change. Therapy can help you adjust, process loss, or find clarity about where you’re headed next.
